My meager poem about losing (and finding) my wallet and how it helped my perspective of my trip — before it even began. Leaving for Japan. Will be gone for a few days. Stay tuned.
—————
Dear Lord,
You know how prepared I was for my trip,
Every little thing perfect
And yet, despite my careful plan
I lost an important possession
My wallet, my identification
Just as my eyes began to tear
You answered my prayer
And gently reminded me
that it is not I who is in control but Thee
Thank you for showing me your love by caring for small things hidden
Certainly you can handle watching over my children
Thank you for demonstrating your love
Deep down, I knew that you did — but I appreciated the hug.
One response to “Thanks for Lost Wallets”
i miss you
